Becky is from a scientific background, holding a first-class honours degree in biological science and a master's degree in molecular biology from Staffordshire University. Her favourite area of science is environmental microbiology, and she has spent time in the Netherlands at their ecology institute conducting research on microbial interactions in freshwater systems. After working as a molecular biologist in Jersey and London, Becky decided to use her passion for science and writing to pursue and internship at Stone Junction in 2021. She liked it so much she decided to stick around! In her spare time, you can pretty much guarantee that she will be lifting weights at the gym. On the off chance that she isn't there, she will either be playing video games, reading or exploring outdoors!
