Barney studied Marine Science at the University of Plymouth and Zoology at the University of Exeter, which sparked his interest in STEM communications. After some time volunteering abroad, he returned home to Cambridge to spend a few years teaching English and giving punting tours. In 2019, he retrained as a chef, working aboard sailing yachts around the planet. Now he’s hung up his whites and has returned to life on land, bringing his passion for communication and science to Stone Junction and its growing client base. Outside the office you can find him tinkering on his grandpa’s old VW campervan or driving it at eye-wateringly low speeds.
