PR account manager

Stone Junction is looking for an account manager to join its team. To apply for this role, you must have at least three years of experience in another PR or marketing agency, ideally working on B2B technology, engineering or scientific campaigns. If you’re a chartered or accredited PR practitioner, even better.

This position would suit someone who is ready to step up in their career and take control of a portfolio of client accounts. The role will see you develop new campaign strategies, maintain client relationships and organise the workflow of the accounts you manage. Experience of managing people is preferable, but not essential.

The salary range for this position is determined on experience. The range is from £32,000 to £44,500.

SKILLS REQUIRED

A core part of this role is the ability to produce high quality content for our clients. These include global engineering companies, technology firms and scientific research projects — so you must be interested in this area of industry. It is also crucial you can demonstrate a thorough understanding of digital PR tactics and experience of using Google Analytics and SEO tools.

  • Exceptional writing and proofreading talent, with the ability to produce content about technical subjects
  • A good network of contacts in the trade media, with demonstrable experience of attaining national coverage
  • Excellent digital skills with extensive examples of SEO, social media and paid media work
  • Ability to plan budgets and strategize campaigns accordingly, providing reports on campaign performance against targets
  • Confidence providing strategic counsel and consultancy to clients
  • Tenacity to win new business by creating new business proposals and pitching to potential new clients
